Subscriptions and refunds
Purchases are handled by Apple, not by us, so Apple is the only one who can change or refund them. Both paths are in the app as well, under Settings, behind the grown ups question:
- Manage or cancel a subscription: open Settings on your device, tap your name, then Subscriptions. Cancelling stops the next renewal; the time you have already paid for stays.
- Ask for a refund: go to reportaproblem.apple.com and sign in with the Apple Account that made the purchase.
If a child made a purchase you did not expect, the same refund path applies, and Ask to Buy plus the Screen Time purchase restrictions will stop it happening again. Our own grown ups question protects getting to the buy screen; Apple's password protects the payment itself.
Pictures your child already made are never taken away for a billing reason, ever. Not on a refund, not on a cancellation, not when a subscription lapses.
If you write to us about a purchase
Funbow has no accounts, so we cannot look you up by name or email. Settings shows a short support code. Quote it and we can see three things for that code, and only for that code: which plan is active right now, how many bought pictures have been added to the account in total, and how many drawing requests have counted against the allowance, including any the safety check turned down.
Note that those are totals, not what is left. Free, monthly and bought pictures are spent in that order, and the monthly ones refresh, so the remaining figure is worked out from all three. The app itself shows that number, on the Magic screen under the Draw it button, and it is the one to trust.
What a code never reaches: your name, your email, your card, your child's pictures, or any history of what you were charged. For a receipt or a past charge, Apple holds those, at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Something a child should not have seen
Every magic picture is checked for child safety before it is shown. If something still gets through, there is a Report button on every generated picture, behind the grown ups question. Reports are reviewed within 24 hours. You can also mail support@funbow.app.
Privacy
The app collects no personal data about your child. Profile names and saved artwork stay on the device. The full detail is in our privacy policy; privacy questions go to privacy@funbow.app.
Accessibility
Funbow supports VoiceOver, larger text including the accessibility sizes, reduced motion and increased contrast, and it has a calm mode that turns off celebrations and sound. Every drag has a tap alternative, and nothing depends on hearing it. If something is still hard to use, please tell us at support@funbow.app. We treat that as a bug, not a request.
